Big Tile - Big Bathroom Remodel
This was a large bathroom renovation in an upscale condo. Some of the challenges for this project were removing a wall to widen the bathroom footprint, and then building a new bumped out wall to house the plumbing for the new wider vanity. The biggest challenge here however was the tile work. We installed gigantic, 24" x 48" wall tiles (yes, 2 feet x 4 feet pieces of tile) around the perimeter of the shower and main wall. Because of the sheer size of each piece, we had to make sure that the walls were PERFECTLY flat. In this old cement condo - not a single one was so we resurfaced every wall. The tiles themselves were also ribbed with lines meaning that EVERYTHING had to be laser straight. This was definitely a very cool project and we appreciate the home owner for having us!
