We took this classic, long, narrow galley style bathroom from the mid-20th century into the modern era. We removed the dated fiberglass tub and replaced it with a luxurious walk-in shower with a low-profile black base. A horizontal, built-in shower niche was added for storage, featuring a contrasting dark hexagonal tile that complements the floor. The shower now features a sleek, matte black rainfall shower head and handle, matching the door hardware. The new tile uses black, white, and grey to create a three-dimensional, tumbling block effect, serving as a major focal point.
