My mom was always volunteering when I was growing up. Now a retired school teacher living in Bar Harbor, Maine, she has doubled down and volunteers more than ever. When she volunteers she says she feels like she is the one that is getting something because it makes her feel so good. She is my role model and my hero.

Part of entrepreneur culture is giving back through mentorship and charitable acts in your community locally and abroad. As I get busier, I don’t want to forget that giving back, especially these days, is so important to do (if you are able). Here is some of the volunteer work that I am most proud of, as these have utilized the skillsets of being an entrepreneur.
