The name "Enlightened Remodeling" was chosen to represent a better, more thoughtful approach to home renovation. We were frustrated with industry norms - our founder Alex has worked with contractors his entire life and knew that there was a better, "higher" way to doing things. Our approach is rooted in his understanding that construction is an emotional journey. He knows it can be disorienting to have your home worked on by strangers, so he built the company to stand firmly on the homeowner's side.

We're glad you noticed! The great horned owl represents precision, wisdom, focus and attention to detail which is why we selected this beauty to be our mascot. No affiliation with Duo the Owl from Duolingo, but we hope someday they can meet.
